Ground Yourself First; Then Your Kids
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN GROUNDED?
This term we use today, “You are grounded!”😠 originally came from Tibet. It was their way of earthing, grounding, meditating, and finding your center, all pretty much the same word for chilling out. Relax and step back. Reset. Breathe. Start Over. These are all different ways of telling you that your Root Chakra is out of balance. We all have Chakras, they are part of the human design and yes doctors in the US are finally acknowledging this. WebMD
Grounding is supposed to make you sit and think about what you did wrong. Why did I do that? Why didn’t I do that? Did I overreact? Did I underreact...for too long? For all you parents, remember they are children. Talk to them, THINK about your childhood, what did you do that you wish you hadn’t? What do you wish you had known? Don’t change the past, learn from it, teach them, protect them, and don’t punish them unless you really need to. You know when; you’re the parents. Start with a discussion, that’s what I do.
In order to correct your root chakra you have to begin with grounding yourself. Here are 3 simple ways to do this and it’s free.
Stand in the grass barefoot; until you feel better. (you can send your kids out to do this too, tell them they have to go get the nonsense out)
Breathe, take lots of deep breaths; as many as you need. Focus on them, pay attention to the in & out. It’s not a race. Slow & Steady.
Listen to music; take the edge off.
Those are my basics, my go-to’s, do it everyday and you will master it. #itbeginstoflow
There is one more tip that I do personally, I wear the chakra color to help me stay balanced. So in this case wear red. Get a Red Sweater.
