Instead of College

DON’T FORCE IT (instead of sage©️)

Some of you aren’t ready or don’t fit into college. (this is for parents too) Don’t force it. We are all on different paths; when did college become the main path for all? Who decided this had to be the way?

There are so many reputable positions in the US that are outside of college, don’t underestimate them and please do not discredit them. Do not assume someone who does not have a college degree is less intelligent, less worthy, less happy, or less successful because that is simply untrue. They may also be more affluent than you, in more than one way. They chose their path, different than most or maybe not. How many Americans have college degrees? I really do not know but I am willing to bet less have completed their degrees than those who have.

Here is the other thing, it’s not shameful. Be proud of yourself. So, you didn’t graduate college, are you a person of integrity? Do you do your job and do it well? Are you successful in your own eyes, that is all that matters!

Become a Contractor, an Electrician, a Police Officer, or Fire Fighter. Become a Plumber. Become a Hotel Manager, Real Estate Agent, or a Retail Sales Clerk. Become a Waiter, Bartender, Waitress or Manage the whole place. Become a Cosmetologist, an Esthetician, a Nail Tech, a Makeup Artist. LPNs don’t have degrees either. Some Webmasters can design you a better website than a Software Engineer. Work for the Electric Company, we all need you! Become a Bus Driver, get the kids to school and the adults to work. There are so many positions in this country that do not require a college education so do not sell yourself short and don’t let others either. Find something you love not what someone else does.
